Louis is 6 Months Old!!!

Louis turned 1/2 year old on 12/4/09.

Happy 5 Months!

Grammy Di and Grandpa were here for Louis's 5 month Birthday! They bought Louis a cupcake and took very good care of Louis for three days!!!

Louis's First Halloween

Thank goodness I have generous friends. Louis was supposed to be a pumpkin, but it would not button and Louis was not a happy camper. Louis's friend Noah had a bumble bee costume that Louis got to wear to trick-or-treat down the block. Overall, it was a fun 1st Halloween, but we are all looking forward to next year when we get to go with Sadie too.

Louis Eats From a Spoon!

The concept of eating with a spoon was pretty strange at first. I kept trying to stick my tongue out and wasn't getting much in my mouth. I finally realized that I had to open my mouth and then mommy and daddy would put the spoonful of oatmeal in my mouth. That worked so much better. Now I'm trying to grab the spoon and do it myself.

Big Weekend!

I got to help Grammy Di celebrate her Birthday this weekend and I also got baptized. Below is a picture of the outfit I wore to my Baptism. Before I left for the service I read the paper with Daddy.

After the service (okay, I talked daddy in taking me home early so I could nap ...hee hee...gotta love being so cute and getting out of church :)). I woke up from my nap and Auntie Michelle gave me a bottle and then I jumped, while everyone ate lunch. Then, Grammy Di and I got cake :)

It was a good day and I even got a lot of special gifts from my family. My parents opened up my gifts when I was napping again (I guess my mom loves to open gifts....I let it slide this time). Below is me wearing one of my gifts.

Louis is 4 Months Old!

To celebrate I ate, napped, went to church, played with mommy and daddy, jumped in my Jumperoo and took a bath!

Louis was feeling a bit insecure about his thighs so asked to get on an excercise program.

Louis has skills!

Daddy got home from work and I rolled over from my tummy to back for the very first time. Daddy grabbed the video camera and requested me to do it again for the camera. You can hear me explaining my new skill in the below video. Enjoy!

My parents finally let me party all day and night with my Grandma and Grandpa Duppong! I had so much fun playing, eating, going for a stroller ride and being loved. They even let me spit up all over them. They also dressed me in my Vikings outfit for the big game :)

Weekend!!!

It is the weekend and mom dressed me in my cool new workout outfit, but I opted to lounge on the couch vs. going for a run.

Finally all the rumors have been swashed and Brett Farve is a Viking. Louis was very happy this morning as we discussed tonight's game. He's assumed his position on the Green Monster and is dressed in his Vikings gear to celebrate the event.

Jean Day!

Louis had his twin friends (Ella and Peyton) visit this past weekend. Louis enjoyed hanging with the girls!

2 Months Old!

I am now 2 months and a week old! My parents took me to Grammy Di's and Grandpa's house this past weekend. My Auntie Michelle and Troy came too!!!

New Skills

Louis has got new skills, in addition to his nunchuck, bo staff and wolverine-hunting skills. He's starting to hold up his head while on his tummy.

More Skills

I wasn't unable to capture the speed of his nunchucks with the camera but I was able to get a small glimpse of the crouching cobra about to strike.

You better watch out, Johnny, the Cobra Kai is coming for you!

8 Weeks

Louis is 8 weeks today and celebrated the day by going to a park. He wore his jeans for the first time since it was a little chilly out and as you can tell from the picture he's still eating well.

On a side note, doesn't mommy look good? Daddy thinks so!

Auntie Michelle and Uncle Troy

Auntie Michelle and Uncle Troy came to visit me again this week. Mom and dad tried to put me in the swing when everyone was eating dinner, but I showed them who was boss and made them hold me :)

A little bit about me ....

I am now 7 weeks old! Mommy and daddy think I weigh 15lbs, which is hurting mommy's back because I'm so big. Mom and I like to dance to childern's music. I also like tummy time, the Baby Bjorn and having someone carry me around the house so I can look around. I'm starting to sleep longer at night, which makes mommy and daddy happy. I'm crying less because my parents have finally figured out what I like, which includes staring and swinging at my mobile in my crib. All these things makes me coo and smile more and more!

LOL

Louis is starting to smile and coo this last week. In this video he is enjoying one of his favorite toys and letting everyone know how happy he was.

Go Bears!!!

Mommy dressed me in the Bears colors today and told me my uncle would be so proud. I told her I was not happy with her and daddy would be upset if I became a Bears fan so I gave her a dirty look.

Morning Workout

Louis woke up and thought if Brett Farve can workout 4 days a week, he better make an attempt to workout today.

He dressed the part but soon got sucked into the Green Monster and fell asleep before working up a sweat.

I guess he'll leave the exercise to the future Viking.
